is located in the central Highlands of Scotland, 2 miles north of
the village of Kingussie and 10 miles south of Aviemore. The Estate
is approximately 42 miles from Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.
RAIL:
Kingussie has a main line rail station with daily
trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. The London
sleeper arrives every morning at 7.30am and returns
after dinner. A very civilised way to arrive in the

ROAD:
The A9 provides an easy road link to Edinburgh,
Glasgow and the south and northwards to Inverness.
AIR:
Inverness Airport is less than an hours drive from
the Estate and there are daily flights with BA and easyJet
to London Gatwick, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow
and Edinburgh. Online

With its central location Balavil is ideally suited as
a centre to which to tour the west coast of Scotland and
